The Piano Man is Coming to Agua Caliente! |

 Agua Caliente Casino • Resort • Spa has just announced that Billy Joel, the Piano Man, will open their new indoor amphitheater “The Show” on February 12, 2009. Joel, a mega star will launch what looks to be a great year of star studded entertainment events for Agua Caliente Casino • Resort • Spa . “The Show”, which covers 35,000 square feet and seats 2,000, is expected to be sold out for Billy Joel, gala, opening performance.
Joel once married to model Christy Brinkly, first started practicing
piano in 1953. He joined his first band “The Echoes”, which later
became known as “The Lost Souls” in 1963 at the tender young age of 14.
By age 17 he joined “The Hassles”and recorded his first album also
named “The Hassles” in 1967 which followed by his second album “Hour of
the Wolf” in 1968.
Joel has not only won many awards including his induction to the Rock
and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio 1999, MusiCares Person of the
Year for 2002, Long Island Music Hall of Fame on Oct. 15, 2006, Best
Recording Artist, Male but has had many Song and Albums of the Year, as
well as Gold and Platinum records and albums. With pages of songs,
recording and performing credits, no one disputes that Billy Joel is a
music legend and icon. What a special honor and treat to have Billy
Joel here in the Coachella Valley, and even better, that he will be
opening the new Agua Caliente Event Center.
Tickets for the Billy Joel concert will go on sale soon, and are
expected go be sold out very rapidly. We suggest that you buy your
tickets early and don’t miss Billy Joel at Agua Caliente February 12,
2009.
